American Green Lights receives 2017 IES Award of Merit for custom retrofits for Tyson Fp

American Green Lights of San Diego, CA was recognized by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) with its 2017 Illumination Award of Merit.  The project that earned the award was a custom LED retrofit module that resulted in a 580% increase in lighting performance compared to the traditional Metal Halide Lights.

Dave Segerson, Regional Director and local agent for American Green Lights, worked closely with Tyson's Kent Bearson- Director of Process Engineering, Jeff Fisher-Maintenance Manager, and Beata Kieltyka-Sr. Manager Pilot Plant to identify problems and look for opportunities for increased productivity and reduced electricity consumption and downtime.
